Project Description Challenge Based Procurement to Advance Decarbonization Solutions across EDC’s Assets
- Lead the launch and implementation of this challenge based procurement. Work with Asset Management and Green Economy teams to issue a solicitation, oversee the piloting, and evaluate and contract with a vendor - prioritizing advancing EDC’s climate and innovation objectives and decarbonization of EDC’s assets.
- Prove out the viability and benefit of creative approaches to portfolio-wide decarbonization pathways for other agencies and the private sector. Help EDC leverage its communication platforms and bi-annual market connection events held with other members of the Harbor Climate Collaborative (Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Trust for Governors Island) to get the word out about the CBP opportunity, reaching a broad range of stakeholders including venture capital, large scale customers, and regulatory agencies.
